About Gelato
Gelato, also known as "Larry Bird" and "Gelato #33," is a balanced hybrid strain developed in the San Francisco Bay Area in the mid-2010s. The strain was created by crossing Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and quickly became famous for its unique flavors and potent effects.
The strain is named for its sweet, creamy flavor reminiscent of Italian ice cream. Despite its popularity, Gelato has not won any major Cannabis Cup awards, but has gained notoriety through word of mouth and celebrity endorsements.
Taste: Sweet, vanilla, mint
